The 2018 Maine State Senate elections took place as part of the biennial United States elections. Maine voters elected state senators in all 35 of the state senate's districts. Millett is a Democraticbr>State Representativefrom Maine'House District 123representing Cape Elizabeth and part of South Portland. Prior to redistricting, Millet served as State Representative of Maine's House District 30. She has also served as State Senator from Maine's 29th District. From 2004 to 2010, Millett served on the Cape Elizabeth School Board. Anne Carney is an American Democratic politician and attorney from Maine. She currently serves in the Maine Senate representing District 29, which consists of Cape Elizabeth, South Portland, and part of Scarborough. Carney was born in Baltimore, Maryland and attended Haverford College where she received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).
