Michael Holbrook Penniman Jr. (born 18 August 1983), known professionally as Mika ( , stylised in all caps), is a singer-songwriter born in Beirut, Lebanon, and raised in Paris and London. Mika X (born Terrance John Pou on 8 February 1962, later renamed Neil Gudsell, also known as Mika and as Mika Haka) is a New Zealand Māori singer, performance artist, actor, filmmaker, TV producer and comedian. Mika Petteri Aaltola (born 2 May 1969) is a Finnish political scientist and a member of the European Parliament. He is a former director of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs. Mika Juhani Koivuniemi (born 6 April 1967) is a Finnish professional ten-pin bowler and bowling coach. He competed on the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) tour in the United States, and won bowling titles in 21 different countries during his career. He is a two-time PBA Player of the Year (2003–04 and 2010–11 seasons), one of only three players born outside the USA (with Amleto Monacelli and Jason Belmonte) to win that award. Koivuniemi is the second international player (after Monacelli) and first European ever elected to the PBA Hall of Fame; he was inducted in 2019. Mika Kallio (born 8 November 1982) is a Finnish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, currently serving as the lead test and development rider for the Red Bull KTM team in MotoGP. Mika Juhani Kaurismäki (; born 21 September 1955) is a Finnish film director. Early life and education Mika Kaurismäki was born in Orimattila. He is the elder brother of Aki Kaurismäki. After high school, Kaurismäki worked as a painter of houses and apartments in the small town of Kuusankoski in the southeastern part of Finland. Mika Tapio Lavento (born 29 March 1962) is a Finnish archaeologist. He has worked as the Professor of Archaeology at the University of Helsinki since 2004. Early life Lavento was born in Kajaani on 29 March 1962, to father, dentist Ari Lavento and mother, Auli Lavento. He got interested in archaeology in the early 1980s, after having taken part in a tour of the local archaeological sites, arranged by the Kainuu Museum.
