The 1960 Australian Grand Prix was a motor race held at Lowood in Queensland, Australia on 12 June 1960. The race, which was run to Formula Libre, had 16 starters. The Lowood Airfield Circuit was a motor racing venue in Queensland, Australia. The circuit, which was used from 1946 to 1966, was located at a former wartime airfield site at Tarampa, Queensland, Mount Tarampa, near Lowood, Queensland, Lowood, west of the state capital Brisbane.
