''Love's Labour's Lost'' is a 2000 British musical romantic comedy film written, directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh, based on the comic play of the same name by William Shakespeare. The first feature film to be made of this lesser-known comedy, Branagh's fourth film of a Shakespeare play was a box-office and critical disappointment. ''Love's Labor Lost'' is a 1920 short, animated film by Bray Productions and is one of the silent Krazy Kat cartoons. The film's title references a play by William Shakespeare. Plot Ignatz Mouse is sitting on a rock at a silent place. He then sees a charming girl hippo and develops an affection for her right after waving hello, despite the size difference. An elephant, probably a policeman, sees his steady girlfriend hippo and approaches to court her. The elephant sits next to the hippo on a bench and tickles her chin using its trunk. The elephant gently elbows the hippo in a loving sense, and she responds by slapping his face. The elephant then puts his hand in her hand. She moves his hand back to him. Shepperton Studios is a film studio located in Shepperton, Surrey, England, with a history dating back to 1931. It is now part of the Pinewood Studios Group. During its early existence, the studio was branded as Sound City (not to be confused with the Californian recording studio of the same name). ''As You Like It'' is a 2006 romance film written and directed by Kenneth Branagh, based on William Shakespeare's play of the same name. The film stars Romola Garai, Bryce Dallas Howard, Kevin Kline, Adrian Lester, Janet McTeer, Alfred Molina, David Oyelowo and Brian Blessed in a dual role. Transferring the play's setting to a late 19th-century European colony in Japan after the Meiji Restoration, filming took place at Shepperton Film Studios and at the never-before-filmed gardens of Wakehurst Place. Jimmy Yuill
James Evander Munro Yuill (born 13 February 1956) is a Scottish actor. He is a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company and later joined the Renaissance Theatre Company. He has appeared in many of Kenneth Branagh's films, most recently as Edward Woolmer in the 2018 film ''All Is True''. Yuill was also the music composer for ''A Midwinter's Tale'' and ''Swan Song''.
