List Of Regional And Local Political Parties In Denmark
This list shows all local and regional political parties in Denmark since the 2007 municipal reform. Local and regional parties in Denmark are commonly knowns as local lists, citizens' lists or common lists (Danish: ''lokallister, borgerlister and fælleslister''). Those parties are not required to follow the same formats for political parties as the ordinary parties. Furthermore, the name of the party does not have to be approved by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Local and regional parties only run for local and regional elections. Regional parties Regional parties run only in one of the five regions of Denmark. This list includes only parties that run exclusively in regional elections, and not municipal or general elections. Municipalities Of Denmark
Denmark is divided into five regions, which contain 98 municipalities ( da, kommuner , sing.: ). The Capital Region has 29 municipalities, Southern Denmark 22, Central Denmark 19, Zealand 17 and North Denmark 11. This structure was established per an administrative reform (Danish: ''Strukturreformen''; English: (''The'') ''Structural Reform'') of the public sector of Denmark, effective 26 June 2005 (council elections 15 November 2005), which abolished the 13 counties (; singular ) and created five regions (; singular ) which unlike the counties (1970–2006) (Danish (singular) ''amtskommune'' ) are not municipalities. Ballerup Municipality
Ballerup Kommune () is a municipality ( da, kommune) in '' Region Hovedstaden'' on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. It is located approximately 15 kilometers from central Copenhagen. The municipality covers an area of 34.09 km², and has a population of 48,231 (1. January 2017). It is also the name of the municipal seat, Ballerup. Overview As of November 2020, the mayor is Jesper Würtzen of the Social Democrats. Other than Ballerup, the towns that make up the municipality are Måløv and Skovlunde. Favrskov Municipality
Favrskov Municipality ( da, Favrskov Kommune, ) is a municipality in Central Denmark Region in Denmark north of Aarhus and is a part of the Aarhus area. According to municipal and regional key figures the municipality covers an area of and had a population of 47,177 as of 1 April 2014. The largest towns within the municipality are Hadsten, Hinnerup and Hammel. Favrskov Municipality was created on 1 January 2007 as a result of ''Kommunalreformen'' ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007). Fanø Municipality
Fanø () is a Danish island in the North Sea off the coast of southwestern Denmark, and is the very northernmost of the Danish Wadden Sea Islands. Fanø municipality is the municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') that covers the island and its seat is the town of Nordby. Island Fanø is separated from the mainland by the Wadden Sea over a span of approximately ., in the north at the closest point to the mainland 1.24 km. The island is long and wide, and it is located off the coast from the city of Esbjerg to which it is connected by ferry. The ferry ride takes 12 minutes. Esbjerg Municipality () is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in Region of Southern Denmark on the west coast of the Jutland peninsula in southwest Denmark. Dragør Municipality
Dragør Kommune () is a municipality ( Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Hovedstaden on the southern coast of the island of Amager just east of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. Cannabis Party (Denmark)
The Cannabis Party or The Hemp Party ( da, Hampepartiet) is a single issue, local political party in Denmark. The party stands for the legalisation of cannabis ''Cannabis'' () is a genus of flowering plants in the family Cannabaceae. The number of species within the genus is disputed.
