This is a list of notable kosher restaurants. A kosher restaurant is an establishment that serves food that complies with Jewish dietary laws ('' kashrut''). These businesses, which also include diners, cafés, pizzerias, fast food, and cafeterias, and are frequently in listings together with kosher bakeries, butchers, caterers, and other similar places, differ from kosher-style establishments, which offer traditionally Jewish foods made from non-kosher ingredients (i.e., Katz's Delicatessen is kosher-style, meaning they sell all-beef frankfurters made from non-kosher beef). Pico-Robertson is a relatively densely-populated neighborhood in the Westside of Los Angeles, California, flanked on the north, northeast, and west by Beverly Hills, on the east by Carthay and Mid-City, on the south by Mid-City, Beverlywood and Cheviot Hills. Grodzinski is a chain of kosher bakeries in London, England and in Toronto, where it is known as "Grodz." Creole Kosher Kitchen
Creole Kosher Kitchen was a kosher restaurant in the city of New Orleans. The restaurant, which was located in the French Quarter, was forced to close following severe devastation from the hurricane that ultimately led to the relocation of the family business to Los Angeles. Creole Kosher Kitchen was started in 2000 by Gideon Daneshrad, also known as ''Chef Gideon'', a local businessman who had operated several area shops. Gideon's goal was to provide an escape from the non-kosher food that filled the tourist area of New Orleans. The food served replicated the style of traditional New Orleans food, minus non-kosher ingredients such as shrimp and crawfish. The location was a popular hangout for Jewish and non-Jewish travelers alike, and was one of the only kosher restaurants in the city.
