Ader
The Ader was a French automobile designed and built by Clément Ader, a pioneer in flight and telephone service. The Ader car was built in Levallois-Perret, Seine, by his Société Industrielle des Téléphones-Voitures Système Ader between 1900 and 1907. The company first built bicycles in 1869 and tried steam powered aeroplanes between 1890 and 1897. In 1900 the first car was made with a V-twin engine of 904 cc and chain drive. In 1901 shaft drive was introduced along with a four cylinder car where the engine was essentially two of the V-twins coupled together. Two of the four-cylinder engines were joined to make a 3616 cc V-8 which was fitted to a car that ran in the 1903 Paris-Madrid race. That year Ader listed twin-cylinder cars of 904 cc and 1571 cc, as well as four-cylinder ones of 1810 cc and 3142 cc; each was available in a wide range of coachwork. Vintage vehicles
The Able was a small French cyclecar made in Avignon by Paul Toulouse, built between 1920 and 1927. It was a fairly ordinary 4-cylinder light car that utilized engines from companies such as SCAP, Chapuis-Dornier and CIME, ranging from 1100 cc to 1500 cc. Venturi Automobiles
Venturi is a Monaco-based automotive manufacturer. Founded in 1984 by French engineers Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy as ''MVS (Manufacture de Voitures de Sport)'', the company's purpose was to compete in the " Grand Tourisme" market. This was only the most recent post-war attempt at building a sporty luxury car in France, following in the footsteps of Facel Vega, Monica, and Ligier. As with its predecessors, Venturi was immediately faced with many challenges ranging from an unknown name to its under-capitalized and under-staffed state. Venturi did nonetheless manage to continue in production for nearly sixteen years, declaring bankruptcy in 2000. The same year, Monegasque Gildo Pallanca Pastor purchased Venturi, and decided to focus on electric-powered motors. PGO Automobiles is a French car manufacturer, producing exclusive series' of sports cars. The brand operates in the same special market as Wiesmann, and Donkervoort. Their cars are considered an appropriate solution for connoisseurs seeking individuality and style. The French brand was launched in 1980 by three avid automobile fans: the brothers Patrick, Gilles and Olivier Prévôt whose initials formed the brand name: PGO PGO began production by manufacturing replicas but soon moved on to substantiating their own designs into full-scale vehicles. The first of these was the Speedster II, this was a two-seater sports car in a retro-style but with a modern specification. It was first seen at the 2000 Paris Motor Show. Peugeot
Peugeot (, , ) is a French brand of automobiles owned by Stellantis. The family business that preceded the current Peugeot companies was founded in 1810, with a steel foundry that soon started making hand tools and kitchen equipment, and then bicycles. On 20 November 1858, Émile Peugeot applied for the lion trademark. Microcar (brand)
Microcar is a French microcar manufacturer. The company was founded in 1984 as a division of Bénéteau group, a major sailboat manufacturer. Production moved to a new custom-built factory in September 2000. In September 2008, Microcar was acquired by Ligier Automobiles in a deal backed by the Italian private equity firm 21 Investimenti Partners.
