The Minister of Finance (or simply, Finance Minister) is the head of the Ministry of Finance (Zimbabwe), Ministry of Finance of the Government of Zimbabwe. One of the senior-most offices in the Cabinet of Zimbabwe, the finance minister is responsible for the fiscal policy of the government. As part of this, a key duty of the Finance Minister is to present the annual Budget in Parliament of Zimbabwe, which details the government's plan for taxation (revenue collection) and spending in the coming financial year. Through the Budget, the finance minister also outlines the allocations to different ministries and departments. Occasionally, he is assisted by the Minister of State for Finance and the lower-ranked Deputy Minister of Finance. Simba is a fictional character and the protagonist of Disney's ''The Lion King'' franchise. Mthuli Ncube
Mthuli Ncube (born 30 November 1964),The journal ''Africa Confidential'' lists his birth date as 30 November 1964 ; although the entry at uses 1963. is the Finance Minister in the Zimbabwe cabinet appointed by president Emmerson Mnangagwa and past chief economist and Vice President of the African Development Bank. Ignatius Morgen Chiminya Chombo (born 1 August 1952) is a Zimbabwean politician who was Finance Minister of Zimbabwe in 2017. Previously he has served in the Cabinet of Zimbabwe as Minister of Home Affairs from 2015 to 2017, Minister of Local Government, Public Works and Urban Development from 2000 to 2015. Christopher Tichaona Kuruneri (4 April 1949 – 28 May 2022) was a Zimbabwean businessman, politician, lawyer, farmer and philanthropist.
