Wil Albeda
Willem "Wil" Albeda (13 June 1925 – 6 May 2014) was a Dutch politician of the defunct Anti-Revolutionary Party (ARP) and later of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and economist. Albeda attended a gymnasium in Leeuwarden from May 1937 until March 1943. During the German occupation Albeda wanted to continue his study but in March 1943 he refused to sign a loyalty oath to the German occupation authority but to escape prosecution he was forced to enlist in the Arbeitslager in the German armored production industry in Oberhausen. Following the end of World War II Albeda served as a translator for the United States Army from March 1945 until May 1945. Albeda worked as a civil servant for the Fiscal Information and Investigation Service (FIOD) of the Ministry of Finance from May 1945 until June 1945 and for the Central Bank of the Netherlands from June 1945 until November 1945. Ed Anker
Eize Willem (Ed) Anker (born 30 June 1978) is a former member of the Dutch House of Representatives for the ChristianUnion. Since 26 May 2014 he has been an alderman of Zwolle. Anker started his political career in the youth organisation of the Reformed Political Alliance, one of the predecessors of the ChristianUnion. He studied political science in Amsterdam. From 2005 to 2007 Anker was a member of the city council of Zaandam. In 2006 he was nominated for the eight place on the candidate list of the ChristianUnion for the coming elections of the House of Representatives. The party doubled its number of seats from three to six, but when it became a member of the newly formed fourth Balkenende cabinet André Rouvoet and Tineke Huizinga, both members of the House of Representatives for the ChristianUnion, became respectively Minister for Youth and Family and State Secretary for Transport and Water Management. The party was founded in 1926 as a continuation of the General League of Roman Catholic Caucuses. During its entire existence, the party was in government. Johannes Regnerus Maria Van Angeren
Johannes Regnerus Maria van Angeren (9 May 1894 – 19 March 1959) was a Dutch politician. He was born in Utrecht and died in The Hague. Biography Van Angeren was a jurist and a public servant, who was a minister in London. In 1937, after a short departmental career, he became the first Catholic secretary-general of Justice. Because of his vulnerable position, as secretary-general he advocated tough action against Nazism, he fled in May 1940 with his minister to England and later succeeded Gerbrandy as minister of Justice in London. Later in 1944, he clashed with Queen Wilhelmina when he presented her an Extraordinary Police Order. Such an extreme regulation of the post-war police organisation required parliamentary approval, the Queen said. After stepping down as minister of justice in Londen, he became secretary-general again in The Netherlands. The Christian Historical Union ( nl, Christelijk-Historische Unie, CHU) was a Protestant Christian democratic political party in the Netherlands. The CHU is one of the predecessors of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), into which it merged in September 1980. Franciscus Henricus Johannes Joseph "Frans" Andriessen (2 April 1929 – 22 March 2019) was a Dutch politician of the defunct Catholic People's Party (KVP) and later the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) party and businessperson who served as European Commissioner from 6 January 1981 until 6 January 1993. Andriessen studied Law at the Utrecht University obtaining a Master of Laws degree.
