Commodore Amiga
Amiga is a family of personal computers introduced by Commodore in 1985. The original model is one of a number of mid-1980s computers with 16- or 32-bit processors, 256 KB or more of RAM, mouse-based GUIs, and significantly improved graphics and audio compared to previous 8-bit systems. This includes the Atari ST—released earlier the same year—as well as the Macintosh and Acorn Archimedes. Based on the Motorola 68000 microprocessor, the Amiga differs from its contemporaries through the inclusion of custom hardware to accelerate graphics and sound, including sprites and a blitter, and a pre-emptive multitasking operating system called AmigaOS. The Amiga 1000 was released in July 1985, but production problems kept it from becoming widely available until early 1986. The best-selling model, the Amiga 500, was introduced in 1987 along with the more expandable Amiga 2000. The Amiga 3000 was introduced in 1990, followed by the Amiga 500 Plus, and Amiga 600 in March 1992. ...

The film tells the story of the Archangel Gabriel (Walken) and his search for an evil soul on Earth, and a police detective (Koteas) who unknowingly becomes caught in the middle of an angelic civil war. Plot Thomas Dagget, a Catholic seminary student, loses his faith when he sees visions of a war between angels. Years later, Thomas is a detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. Two angels fall to Earth: Simon briefly enters Thomas' home and warns him of coming events, while Uziel, a lieutenant of the Archangel Gabriel, is killed in an altercation with Simon. Investigating the disturbance, Thomas finds in Simon's apartment the obituary of recently dece ...

Pinball Mania
''Pinball Dreams'' is a pinball simulation video game developed by Digital Illusions and originally released for the Amiga in 1992. It spawned several sequels, including ''Pinball Fantasies'' and ''Pinball Illusions''. The MS-DOS port was digitally released by Rebellion Developments along with its sequel and ''Pinball Mania'' on February 22, 2011 on GOG.com with support for Microsoft Windows. It received an OS X build on April 23, 2013; and a Linux build on August 19, 2014. Gameplay The game's four tables each had a theme, as do most real-life pinball & Panchinko machines. The version of Pinball Dreams bundled with the Amiga 1200 had a bug which rendered most of Beat Box's advanced features non-functional. *"Ignition", themed around a rocket launch, planets, and space exploration. The Expert Software's ''Pinball 2000'' port of the game renamed this table "Rocket". *"Steel Wheel", themed around steam trains and the Old West. *"Beat Box", themed around the music industry, charts, ...

Pinball Illusions
''Pinball Illusions'' is an Amiga and MS-DOS pinball video game developed by Digital Illusions CE (DICE) in 1995 as a sequel of ''Pinball Fantasies'' and ''Pinball Dreams''. The original Amiga release featured three tables. The PC CD version added a fourth, "The Vikings" (this was written for the Amiga version but not considered good enough for inclusion). This was the first version of the series to feature more than 1 ball in play at a time (known as 'multiball'), and the first to be released for AGA based Amigas. The game also marks its nationality as a Swedish product in "The Vikings" table (at the top left corner). The game was ranked the 23rd best game of all time by ''Amiga Power'' in 1996. ''Maximum'' scored the PC version three out of five stars. They said the four tables are "all excellent in their own way" but that the game lacks the imagination and innovation of other pinball video games. They concluded it to be "solid, if uninspiring, entertainment." Digital Illusio ...

It is the sequel to ''Pinball Dreams'', which was released earlier in the same year on multiple platforms. In the game, players can choose between any of the four available playfields, both of which have their own thematic and main objectives in order to obtain the highest score possible. ''Pinball Fantasies'' was created by the same team who previously developed ''Pinball Dreams'' and although it was initially released for the Amiga computers, the title was later ported to other computers and consoles including the Amiga CD32, Atari Jaguar, Game Boy, MS-DOS, PlayStation and Super Nintendo Entertainment System, with each one featuring several changes and additions compared to the original version. Upon its release on the Amiga, ''Pinball Fantasies'' was met with critical acclaim from video game magazines ...

Pharaoh's Curse (video Game)
''The Pharaoh's Curse'', or simply ''Pharaoh's Curse'', is a platform adventure game written by Steve Coleman and published by Synapse Software in 1983 for the Atari 8-bit family. It was ported to the Commodore 64 and VIC-20, with the VIC version published by Human Engineered Software. Coleman also wrote '' Rainbow Walker'' for Synapse, published the same year. The player attempts to collect 16 treasures from an Egyptian tomb while avoiding the pharaoh, his mummy, and various traps. John Szczepaniak, writing for '' GamesTM'' magazine, called ''The Pharaoh's Curse'' an early example of what later became known as the Metroidvania genre. Gameplay ''The Pharaoh's Curse'' world is arranged as a series of 16 rooms in a 4 by 4 layout, using the flip screen technique of moving between them. The game opens with the player on a title screen, and they start the game by running onto the entrance, a pit, and falling into the tombs below. The rooms consist of various levels in a cave-like ...

Phantasie 3
''Phantasie III: The Wrath of Nikademus'' is the third video game in the ''Phantasie'' series. Gameplay The "final" installment of the ''Phantasie'' trilogy was based around fighting the evil Nikademus and finishing him for good. Released in 1987, this time Nikademus was attempting to take over the entire world and it was up to the party to stop him. ''Phantasie III'' maintained the style of the original two and improved upon the graphics on all platforms except the DOS version. The combat engine also saw a few upgrades, adding specific wound locations, with characters now able to have their head, torso, or a limb specifically injured, broken, or removed. It was also now possible to have a more tactical battle line-up, with the ability to move characters to the front, middle, or rear of the party. The game also improved upon the spell list and added a larger variety of weapons and equipment. The game also had two possible endings depending on whether the characters chose to figh ...

Phantasie 2
''Phantasie II'' is the second game in the ''Phantasie (series), Phantasie'' series of role-playing video games. Gameplay In 1986, SSI published the next part of the ''Phantasie (series), Phantasie'' series, ''Phantasie II''. Again, the Dark Lord Nikademus was the nemesis. This time Nikademus had fashioned an evil orb, and with it he cast a curse on a beautiful island named Ferronrah and enslaved its people. The player's mission was to find and destroy the orb. ''Phantasie II'' used the same graphics and fighting as the original Phantasie game, with one improvement to combat: the ability of any character class to target any enemy rank with a thrown rock. There were improvements in the complexity of quests, but little was done to innovate the series. One option which endeared many veterans was the ability to transfer characters from ''Phantasie I'' to this sequel. The manual included in ''Phantasie II'' was identical to the one included with ''Phantasie'', plus a small card expl ...

By selecting "Random" one could also choose from ogre, troll, pixie, gnoll, orc, lizard man, minotaur, and other races. The game was notable for taking advantage of a broad mix of styles for the game: a town window which allowed purchasing in various shops, a top-down style dungeon crawl view, a top-down world map, and a separate combat window. Each character class had unique fighting styles and options and all characters could choose their strategy for a particular round in the turn-based combat segments. After a combat, experience ...

The series primarily features courses featured on the U.S. PGA Tour, and other notable courses (such as those that have hosted majors).
