The Flyin' Ryan Brothers
The Flyin' Ryan Brothers is an American progressive rock band that formed in Illinois in 1995. It comprises two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny, who between them contribute guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, vocals and many other instruments. History Jimmy and Johnny began playing guitar in the late-1960s, at the ages of 14 and 12 respectively. Influenced by their parents—mother Virginia was a pianist, father Edward was a vocalist—they received no formal music training and had joined bands by 1971. After hearing progressive rock band Wishbone Ash (notable for featuring two lead guitarists) on the radio in 1973, the brothers formed a similar band with local musicians by the name of Westfall. Michael Angelo Batio (), also known as Michael Angelo, Mike Batio or MAB, is an American heavy metal guitarist and columnist from Chicago, Illinois. Fretless Guitar
A fretless guitar is a guitar with a fingerboard without frets, typically a standard instrument that has had the frets removed, though some custom-built and commercial fretless guitars are occasionally made. William Kopecky (born November 17, 1969) is an American musician from Racine, Wisconsin, Racine, Wisconsin, United States. He currently resides in France and, in 2011, work with Haiku Funeral featured his spoken-word delivery of dark poetry. He is known for playing Bass guitar, bass, Keyboard instrument, keyboards and sitar in the band Kopecky with his two brothers, Joe and Paul. He also contributed to numerous progressive rock acts, including Far Corner, Parallel Mind, Par Lindh, Pär Lindh Project.
