Lau Ching-Wan
Sean Lau Ching-wan (born 16 February 1964) is a Hong Kong actor who has acted in both films and television series. He won Best Actor in the 2007 and 2015 Hong Kong Film Awards and in the 2000 and 2007 Golden Bauhinia Awards. Career Lau was born in Hong Kong in 1964. He joined the TVB acting classes in 1983 and made his first appearance on television in the following year in the drama ''Draw Out the Rainbow''. Dark-skinned with no matinee-idol look, he struggled with minor roles until the immensely popular stock market drama ''The Greed of Man'' (1992), where he first achieved his leading man status, and acted opposite Adam Cheng. His wife, Amy Kwok, who won the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 1991, is also a well-known former television actress and co-starred with him on ''The Greed of Man''. The Miss Hong Kong Pageant (), or Miss HK () for short, is an annual beauty pageant organised by local Hong Kong television station, TVB. The pageant was established in 1946, and acquired by TVB in 1973. The current Miss Hong Kong is Denice Lam (林鈺洧) who was crowned at the 50th Miss Hong Kong 2022 Pageant on 25 September 2022. This year 2022 marks the 50th edition of the Miss Hong Kong Pageant under its acquisition by TVB in 1973. Yeung Hok-ling
Yeung Hok-ling (楊鶴齡) (1868 - 29 August 1934), courtesy name Lai-ha (禮遐), was a Chinese revolutionary. He is one of the Four Bandits, together with Sun Yat-sen, Yau Lit and Chan Siu-bak. Biography Born in Macau, Yeung's hometown was at Cuiheng Village at Zhongshan in Guangdong, which was also the hometown of Sun Yat-sen and Lu Haodong. Yeung entered the Canton Academy of Mathematics (廣州算學館) in 1886. In 1888, he went to Hong Kong and stayed at Yeung Yiu Kee (楊耀記), his family shop on Gough Street, Sheung Wan. In 1890, Yeung introduced Yau Lit, his classmate at the Canton Academy of Mathematics, to Sun Yat-sen, his old friend from Cuiheng.
