Lujiazui
Lujiazui (, ) is a locality in Shanghai, a peninsula formed by a bend in the Huangpu River. Since the early 1990s, Lujiazui has been developed specifically as a new financial district of Shanghai. The decision to earmark Lujiazui for this purpose reflects its location: it is located on the east side of the Huangpu River in Pudong, and sits directly across the river from the old financial and business district of the Bund. Lujiazui is a national-level development zone designated by the government. In 2005, the State Council of the People's Republic of China, State Council reaffirmed the positioning of the Lujiazui area as the only finance and trade zone among the 185 state-level development zones in mainland China. Pudong is a list of administrative divisions of Shanghai, district of Shanghai located east of the Huangpu River, Huangpu, the river which flows through central Shanghai. Lujiazui (Shanghai Metro)
Lujiazui () is a station on Line Line 2 (Shanghai Metro), 2 and Line 14 (Shanghai Metro), 14 of the Shanghai Metro rapid transit system, situated in the middle of the financial district of Lujiazui. This station is the first stop in Pudong going east towards Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from to that opened on 20 September 1999. Shanghai International Finance Center, usually abbreviated as Shanghai IFC, is a commercial building complex and a shopping center (branded Shanghai IFC mall) in Shanghai. It incorporates two tower blocks at (south tower) and (north tower) housing offices and a hotel, and an tall multi-storey building behind and between the two towers. Shanghai IFC is located in Lujiazui, in Pudong, Shanghai. Super Brand Mall () is a Shanghainese shopping center, developed by Shanghai Kingshill Limited, a subsidiary of the Charoen Pokphand Group of Thailand.
