Mike, Lu & Og
''Mike, Lu & Og'' is an animated television series created by Mikhail Shindel, Mikhail Aldashin, and Charles Swenson for Cartoon Network, and the 7th of the network's Cartoon Cartoons. The series follows a foreign exchange student from Manhattan named Mike, a self-appointed island princess named Lu, and a boy-genius named Og. The trio take part in various adventures as Mike and the island's natives share their customs with each other. Before its cancellation, fifty-two eleven-minute episodes were produced by Mikhail Shindel's Kinofilm Animation in Los Angeles and animated by Mikhail Aldashin at Pilot (studio), Studio Pilot in Russia, featuring two stories per episode. Lu Leonard (born Mary Lou Price; June 5, 1926 – May 14, 2004) credited also as Lou Leonard, was an American character actress who appeared in numerous television series, theatre and, briefly, film. She was the daughter of actor Hal Price. She was best known for her role as Mrs. Pugh in '' Annie''. Lu was a Mexican pop duo formed by Mario Sandoval and Paty Cantú, both from Guadalajara, Mexico. The sound of their music is similar to Aleks Syntek's, Sin Bandera, Mecano or Sentidos Opuestos. They have received moderate success in the Spanish-speaking world, with songs like "Por Besarte" and "Duele." Career Paty was studying law, but she changed to music when they were signed to Warner Music Mexico. Mario started to write lyrics at the age of 6 when he wrote a song called "Teresa." Their debut album is self-titled and was produced by Aureo Baqueiro, Áureo Baqueiro, producer of artists like Natalia Lafourcade, Sin Bandera, Kabah (band), Kabah, and Mœnia. Lu Commandery ( zh, 魯郡) was a Chinese Jun (country subdivision), commandery that existed from Han dynasty to Tang dynasty. It was located in present-day southern Shandong province. The commandery's predecessor was the Xue Commandery (薛郡), an administrative division established during Qin Shi Huang's reign on the former territories of Lu (state), Lu state. In early Western Han, it was part of the Chu Kingdom (Han dynasty), Kingdom of Chu, a vassal kingdom/principality of the Han dynasty. Lu (; 249 BC) was a vassal Ancient Chinese states, state during the Zhou dynasty of History of China#Ancient China, ancient China located around modern Shandong. Founded in the 11th century BC, its rulers were from a cadet branch of the Jī, House of Ji () that ruled the Zhou dynasty. The first duke was Boqin, a son of the Duke of Zhou, who was brother of King Wu of Zhou and regent to King Cheng of Zhou.
