Louder (Parade Song)
"Louder" is the debut single by British girl group Parade, which was released on 13 March 2011. It debuted at number ten on the UK Singles Chart, and also peaked at number 41 in Ireland. The music video was filmed in an old house, where they’re throwing a house party, which went on in to the street with fireworks, it was directed by Emli Nava. The song was used in a Rimmel advert. Critical reception The song received mixed to positive reviews from the music critics. Lewis Corner of Digital Spy said about ''Louder'': 'A winning mix of insistent beats, pinches of piano and choppy synths, all topped off with a nursery rhyme-style chant of "Turn it up boy, boy, turn it up boy…", 'Louder' bubbles with modern pop fun, but does it offer anything we haven't heard before? Parade were an English girl group who formerly signed to Asylum Records. The group had five members: Emily Biggs, Lauren Deegan, Bianca Claxton, Jessica Agombar and Sian Charlesworth. On 11 February 2013, it was confirmed via the Parade Twitter account the group had disbanded following the departure of Bianca Claxton. The Irish Singles Chart is the Republic of Ireland's music industry standard singles popularity chart issued weekly by the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) and compiled on their behalf by the Official Charts Company. Chart rankings are based on sales, which are compiled through over-the-counter retail data captured electronically each day from retailers' EPOS systems. All major record shops, digital retailers and streaming services contribute to the chart, accounting for over 95% of the market. The Wideboys are an English electronic music duo known for club remixes and for their own song "Sambuca", featuring Dennis G on vocals, which reached number 15 in the UK in October 2001.
