Visual perception is the ability to detect light and use it to form an image of the surrounding Biophysical environment, environment. LOOK is a hard disk scheduling algorithm used to determine the order in which new disk read and write requests are processed. Description The LOOK algorithm, similar to the SCAN algorithm, honors requests on both sweep directions of the disk head, however, it additionally "looks" ahead to see if there are any requests pending in the direction of head movement. If no requests are pending in the direction of head movement, then the disk head traversal will be reversed to the opposite direction and requests on the other direction can be served. ''The English Riviera'' is the third studio album by English electronic music band Metronomy, released on 8 April 2011 by Because Music. Following the release of their second studio album, '' Nights Out'' (2008), founding member Gabriel Stebbing left the band (on this album, Olugbenga Adelekan had joined on bass and Anna Prior had joined on drums). However, Stebbing recorded the bass parts on the album prior to his departure. The album was nominated for the 2011 Mercury Prize.
