Paul Landres (August 12, 1912 – December 26, 2001) was an American film and television editor and director. He directed episodes of ''The Lone Ranger'', '' Maverick'' and '' Flipper'', among many other TV series. He directed the vampire film '' The Return of Dracula'' (1958) based on Pat Fiedler's script and starring Francis Lederer, Ray Stricklyn, Virginia Vincent, John Wengraf, Gage Clarke, Jimmy Baird and Greta Granstedt. He met actor Arthur Franz and actress Kathleen Crowley, and both appeared in '' The Flame Barrier'' (1958). William Tyler McVey (February 14, 1912 – July 4, 2003) was an American character actor of film and television. Early years McVey was born Bay City, Michigan, to William David McVey and his wife, the former Jessie Arvilla Tyler. His mother died of tuberculosis when he was one year old and his father allowed his maternal grandparents to raise him. Robert Warren Brimmer (May 8, 1935 – August 6, 2018), known professionally as Robert Dix, was an American film actor. He appeared in 35 films between 1954 and 1974. Biographic data Dix was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of actor Richard Dix. As a teenager, he left home after his mother remarried. Dix initially was billed as Bob Brimmer, using his legal name. For a year, he worked with the National Academy of Theater Arts in New York City. Following that experience, he gained a two-year contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. He later appeared in ''Forbidden Planet'' (1956), '' Forty Guns'' (1957), and other films including a lead role in Maury Dexter's Air Patrol.
