Locomore (identifier LOC) was a German railway company that operated a Higher-speed rail, higher-speed inter-city rail Open access operator, open access service between four of the most populous Germany, German Metropolitan regions in Germany, metropolitan areas in 2016-2017 i.e. the Stuttgart Metropolitan Region, Rhine-Neckar, Frankfurt Rhine-Main and Berlin/Brandenburg Metropolitan Region, Berlin-Brandenburg. The service stopped at 18 railway stations, including the major German cities of Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hanover and Berlin. It operated at a top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The financially self-reliant Locomore passenger rail service was run by its Crowdfunding, crowdfunded parent company, Locomore GmbH & Co. Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof
Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (commonly known as Heidelberg Hbf) is the main railway station for the city of Heidelberg. In 2005 it was used by around 42,000 passengers per day and is one of the largest passenger stations in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region () or capital region () is one of eleven metropolitan regions of Germany, consisting of the entire territories of the state of Berlin and the surrounding state of Brandenburg. The Stuttgart Metropolitan Region is a metropolitan region in south-west Germany consisting of the cities and regions around Stuttgart, Heilbronn, Tübingen/Reutlingen. These cities are arranged into three agglomeration areas. The population of the area is about 5,300,000 and it is one of the biggest regions in Germany. This area covers an area of ca 15,000 km2. There are eleven metropolitan regions in Germany consisting of the country's most densely populated cities and their catchment areas.
