This is a list of the main sporting local derbies in Poland. Many sports teams in Poland have organised supporter groups who are actively in involved in either the ultras scene or the hooligan scene. All these groups in Poland have 4 types of relationships between each other which are subject to change over time: * friendships ''(zgody)'' - alliances between two groups of supporters, whereby fans frequently visit each other's matches. During matches between two such sides, there usually are no divisions between away and home fans but both sets of fans are in the same stand. * agreements ''(ukÅ‚ady)'' - provisional agreements of co-operation between two groups of fans. A sports rivalry is intense competition between athletic teams or athletes, affecting participants, management, and supporters all to varying degrees. One of the first known sports rivalries occurred in the Roman Empire between the Blues and the Greens, and the minor teams of the Reds and Whites, each of which were chariot racing clubs competing at the Hippodrome in Constantinople. The rivalry took on political tones as well, coming close to deposing the Roman Emperor Justinian in 532 CE in a riot and the suppression of the riot killed tens of thousands of people. KS ROW 1964 Rybnik is a Polish association football club based in Rybnik. The club was formed in 2003 on the basis of RKS Energetyk Rybnik (founded in 1981) and traces its roots back to ROW Rybnik's football section, founded in 1964 and dissolved in the early 1990s. Although continuing the traditions of the original club, it is considered a new entity. The club was called Energetyk ROW Rybnik between 2003 and 2015. Elana ToruÅ„ is a Polish football club based in ToruÅ„. It competes in group II of the III liga, fourth tier of the Polish football league system. History The team was at the second level of the Polish pyramid in the 1990s, but were relegated at the conclusion of the 1998–99 season. In the following season, the club changed their name to TKP ToruÅ„, but they were relegated again to the fourth level. GKS Victoria Jaworzno is a Polish football and boxing club based in Jaworzno, Poland. It is the oldest Polish miner's football club.
