Nora Domínguez
Nora Domínguez (born 1951) is a full professor of literary theory at the University of Buenos Aires. She was a co-founder of the (Interdisciplinary Institute of Gender Studies) at the University of Buenos Aires, which introduced gender studies as an academic field in 1992. Between 2010 and 2017, she was the director of the institute. Her book (''Where Do Children Come From: Motherhood and Writing in Argentine Culture'', 2007) won the Essay Prize from the Fondo Nacional de las Artes, National Arts Foundation. In 2021, she published (''The Reverse of the Face: Figures of Exteriority in Argentine Culture''), which won the Humanities Prize for the Southern Cone from the Latin American Studies Association in 2022. Daniela Hammer-Tugendhat
Daniela Hammer-Tugendhat (born Marie-Daniela Tugendhat; 2 August 1946) is an Austrian art historian. She was born in Caracas, Venezuela to a family of wealthy Jewish-Czech textile manufacturers from Brno, who had fled the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia during World War II. When the war ended, the family unsuccessfully attempted to reclaim their property in Czechoslovakia and settled in St. Gallen, Switzerland in 1950. Influenced by her mother's love of art, Hammer-Tugendhat studied art history and archaeology at the University of Bern and the University of Vienna. After completing her PhD in 1975, she taught at the University of Applied Arts Vienna until her retirement in 2012. Hertha Firnberg (18 September 1909 in Vienna – 14 February 1994 Vienna) was an Austrian politician. Life Hertha Firnberg was born on 18 September 1909 as the eldest daughter of Anna, née Shamanek, and Dr. Josef Firnberg. She was born in the 18th district of Vienna, Währing. Elspeth Probyn (1958-2025) was an Australian academic. She was most recently Professor Emeritus of Gender and Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney. She was a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities, and Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in Australia. Chilla Bulbeck
Margaret Chilla Bulbeck (born 1951) was the emeritus professor of women's studies at Adelaide University from 1997 until 2008, and has published widely on issues of gender and difference. Education Bulbeck gained a degree in economics from the University of Adelaide (1972), a Master of Arts (1975) and a Ph.D. in sociology (1980) from the Australian National University, and an LL.B. from the University of Queensland (1991). Marian Pam Baird is an Australian academic researcher, Professor of Gender and Employment Relations and Head of the Discipline of Work and Organisational Studies at the University of Sydney, and a member of the Australian Fair Work Commission. She is also Foundation Director, Women and Work Research Group. Her research focuses on all aspects of women in the workforce over their lifespan.
