A Women's One Day International (WODI) is a form of limited overs cricket, played between two teams that have international status, as determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC). A WODI can have four possible results—it can be won by either of the two teams, it could be tied, or it could be declared to have "no result". In cricket, a match is said to be tied if it ends with both teams scoring exactly the same number of runs and with the side batting second having completed its innings with all 10 batsmen being out or the predetermined number of overs having been completed. In case of rain-affected matches, the match is tied if the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method indicates that the second team exactly meets but does not exceed the par score. The first tie in ODIs occurred on 10 January 1982 when New Zealand played England in the 1982 Women's Cricket World Cup, with both teams scoring 147 runs in the 60-over match. Women's One Day International
Women's One Day International (WODI) is the limited overs form of women's cricket. Matches are scheduled for 50 overs, equivalent to the men's game. The first women's ODIs were played in 1973, as part of the first Women's World Cup which was held in England. The first ODI saw the hosts beat an International XI. The 1,000th women's ODI took place between South Africa and New Zealand on 13 October 2016. WODI status is determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and was restricted to full members of the ICC. In May 2022, the ICC awarded WODI status to five more teams. The South Africa women's national cricket team, nicknamed the Proteas, represents South Africa in international women's cricket. North Sound
Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is a stadium in North Sound, Antigua, Antigua and Barbuda. It was built for use in the 2007 Cricket World Cup where it hosted Super 8 matches. The stadium usually caters for 10,000 people, but temporary seating doubled its capacity for the 2007 World Cup. The stadium is named after former West Indies cricket captain Viv Richards. Location The stadium is about 10–20 minutes' drive from the capital city, St. John's, and the country's international airport. Saifai International Cricket Stadium is a cricket stadium of International Standard in Saifai ( Etawah district), Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated inside Major Dhyan Chand Sports College's campus. With a seating capacity of 43,000 people, it is one of the largest cricket stadium in India (capacity wise).
