Menomonie () is a city in and the county seat of Dunn County, Wisconsin, United States. The city's population was 16,843 as of the 2020 census. Menomonie forms the core of the United States Census Bureau's Menomonie Micropolitan Statistical Area (MSA), which includes all of Dunn County (2020 population: 45,440). WLAX (channel 25) and WEUX (channel 48) are television stations licensed respectively to La Crosse and Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States, serving as the Fox affiliates for western Wisconsin. They are owned by Nexstar Media Group. WLAX serves the southern portion of the market, while WEUX operates as a full-time satellite for Eau Claire and the market's northern portion. WLAX maintains studio facilities at Interchange Place in La Crosse and a transmitter in La Crescent, Minnesota. WEUX has offices on WIS 93 in Eau Claire and a transmitter southeast of Colfax. Create is an American digital broadcast public television network broadcast on digital subchannels of PBS member stations. The network broadcasts how-to, DIY and other lifestyle-oriented instructional programming 24 hours a day. History Create TV was launched on WGBH-TV DTV/Comcast Cable and WLIW DTV/Cablevision digital services, WNET's sister station, in 2004. Create was launched nationally on January 9, 2006. In 2009, APT started looking for a national network underwriter, while seven stations had found local underwriters that covered their network fees.
