4th Line Road
Fourth Line Road, (List of numbered roads in Ottawa, Ottawa Road #5) is a designated arterial road in the rural portion of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The street follows one of the meridian lines first laid out when Carleton County, Ontario, Carleton County was surveyed. It begins southeast of Richmond, Ontario at Brophy Drive, and runs southeast until it hits the Rideau River, where it turns into Donnelly Drive at Reevcraig Road South. Fourth Line Road passes through the heart of North Gower, Ontario, and when in that town it is known as "Main Street." The road runs just to the west of Highway 416 (Ontario), Highway 416, which is the more important north-south route. The southern portion of it was originally part of Ontario Highway 16. Blair Road (Ottawa)
Blair Road (Ottawa Road #27) is a road in the eastern part of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It begins just south of the Sir George-Étienne Cartier Parkway, but does not connect to the parkway, except for a small bike-path connection to the Ottawa River Pathway - one of the city's main bike trails that runs along the Ottawa River. Starting out quite minor, the northernmost part of the road is a two-lane collector road (north of Montreal Road) or minor arterial road (south of Montreal Road), running past residential areas and to the east of the massive National Research Council and Canadian Security Intelligence Service campuses. Baseline Road (Ottawa)
Baseline Road ( Ottawa Road #16) is a road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Baseline runs from Richmond Road (almost directly over Highway 416) east in a straight line until it ends at the Heron Road Bridge over the Rideau River and Rideau Canal when it becomes Heron Road. Before the 2001 City of Ottawa amalgamation, Baseline formed the border of the city of Ottawa and Nepean. The street is named for its location as the baseline for Nepean Township. When Nepean Township was surveyed, Baseline formed the northern boundary of Nepean's six north–south concessions. Currently, Baseline is a major east–west street, and in the late 1990s it became so busy that Hunt Club Road had to be extended west of the Rideau River to alleviate pressure.
