Cox's Bazar
Cox's Bazar (; ; ) is a city, fishing port, tourism centre, and Cox's Bazar District, district headquarters in south-eastern Bangladesh. Cox's Bazar Beach, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Bangladesh, is the longest uninterrupted naturally occurring sea beach in the world. Located south of the city of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar is also known by the name ''Panowa'', which translates literally as "yellow flower." An old name was "Palongkee". Chapai Nawabganj or Chapainawabganj District () is a district of Rajshahi Division. It is located in the north-western part of Bangladesh. Chapai Nawabganj is a town in north-western Bangladesh. It is the headquarters of Chapai Nawabganj District. It is located on the banks of the Mahananda River. Etymology It is believed the name 'Nawabganj' derives from its status as a favourite hunting ground of the Nawabs of Bengal. There are several theories about how the name 'Chapai' was attached to it. One claims that in a nearby village, a beautiful girl named Champarani or Champabai lived who was a favourite of the Nawabs. Mujibnagar
Mujibnagar (), formerly known as Baidyanathtala (Boiddonathtola) and Bhoborpara, is a town in the Mujibnagar Upazila of Meherpur District in Khulna, Bangladesh. The Provisional Government of Bangladesh was formed on 10 April 1971, however, sworn in on 17 April 1971 in this place by the elected representatives of the Bengalees (mostly belongling to Awami League), that led the Bangladesh Liberation War, who were leading the guerrilla war for the independence of Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) from Pakistan in 1971. The place was renamed Mujibnagar by the proclamation of independence, in honour of then imprisoned Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who had declared Bangladesh independent.
