NHK World
NHK World-Japan (formerly and also known simply as NHK World) is the international arm of the Japanese public broadcaster NHK. Genevieve Woo Marn Huong (; born August 3, 1969) is a Singapore television journalist and news presenter with Mediacorp. Early life and education Woo attended Marymount Convent School and Raffles Junior College in Singapore. She read English language and literature at the National University of Singapore. Career Woo has wide-ranging experience in the media and communications industry, where she has worked in a variety of roles. Glenda Chong is a Singaporean news presenter. She is currently the host of the news segment, News Tonight, of CNA by Mediacorp. Glenda is married to Justin Chan, who is a lawyer. In October 2024, at age 51, Glenda was four months pregnant with her first child, a son. Early life and education Chong was born to a Hakka father and Peranakan mother. Chong attended CHIJ Katong Convent, Victoria Junior College and Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, and graduated summa cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and holds a Masters of Social Sciences (International Studies) from the National University of Singapore. Arnold Gay
Arnold Gay (born 11 May 1967) is a television presenter and former radio presenter from Singapore. He is currently presenting the breakfast show "Asia First" on CNA together with Julie Yoo, Teresa Tang and Elizabeth Neo from Jan 2024. He previously worked at Singapore radio stations Class 95FM, Power 98 FM, Kiss 92FM, as well as sister channel CNA938. He was also a broadcast journalist at various TV stations including CNA, CNBC Asia, Bloomberg TV and Reuters TV. ''On the Red Dot'' is a current affairs/info-ed programme formerly hosted by Cheryl Fox and Otelli Edwards. It first aired on Mediacorp Channel 5 on Wednesdays, 9.00pm, beginning October 31, 2012. Repeat telecasts are broadcast on CNA, on Sundays of the same week at 10.30pm. The show revamped for a new look on April 3, 2013. From January 1, 2015, Channel 5 will air it at a new time, Thursdays at 10.00pm, and the show was revamped for a new look.
