Balram Das Tandon
Balram Das Tandon (1 November 1927 – 14 August 2018) was an Indian politician and the List of governors of Chhattisgarh, Former Governor of Chhattisgarh. In his adulthood for some years he was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh#Structure, pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and a leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Punjab (India), Punjab. Amarinder Singh
Amarinder Singh (born 11 March 1942) is an Indian politician, military historian, former royal and Indian Army veteran who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Punjab. His father, Yadavindra Singh, was the last Maharaja of the princely state of Patiala and a member of the historical Phulkian dyansty. Before starting his political career, Singh was an officer in the Indian Army, where he served from 1963 to 1966. In his long political career, Singh has served in numerous positions including as a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Punjab and as a Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha. He also served as the president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee thrice. Singh served as the Chief Minister of Punjab from 2002 to 2007 and 2017 to 2021. Yadavindra Singh
Yadavindra Singh (), also spelt as Yadvinder Singh, was the ninth and last ruling Maharaja of Patiala from 1938 to 1947. Singh kept his royal titles until 1971, when princely titles were abolished through the 26th Amendment to the Constitution of India. In his life, Singh was also a diplomat, sports administrator and former cricketer who played one Test in 1934. Early life Born in Patiala City, Patiala State, within the British Raj (now in Punjab, India) in 1914 into a Jat Sikh family of the Sidhu clan, Yadavindra Singh attended Aitchison College in Lahore. He served in the Patiala State Police, became its Inspector General and served in Malaya, Italy and Burma during the World War II. Raghbir Singh (Chief Minister)
Raghbir Singh (1895 – January 7, 1955) was an Indian politician and freedom fighter who served as 2nd Chief Minister of the former state of the Patiala and East Punjab States Union (PESPU). Raghbir Singh was born in a village of the Lahore in 1895. His lineage included Sardar Sahib Singh and Sardar Lakkha Singh, who were responsible for the early upbringing and education in the use of arms of Maharaja Ranjit Singh of the Sikh Empire.
