The following is a list of fictional characters from Michael Crichton's 1990 novel ''Jurassic Park (novel), Jurassic Park'', its 1995 sequel ''The Lost World (Crichton novel), The Lost World'', and their film adaptations, ''Jurassic Park (film), Jurassic Park'' (1993) and ''The Lost World: Jurassic Park'' (1997). Also included are characters from the sequel films ''Jurassic Park III'', ''Jurassic World'', ''Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom'', ''Jurassic World Dominion'', and the short film ''Battle at Big Rock''. These films are not adaptations and have no original source novels but contain some characters and events based on the fictional universe of Crichton's novels. Michael Crichton
John Michael Crichton (; October 23, 1942 – November 4, 2008) was an American author, screenwriter and filmmaker. His books have sold over 200 million copies worldwide, and over a dozen have been adapted into films. His literary works heavily feature technology and are usually within the science fiction, techno-thriller, and medical fiction genres. Crichton's novels often explore human technological advancement and attempted dominance over nature, both with frequently catastrophic results; many of his works are cautionary tales, especially regarding themes of biotechnology. Several of his stories center on themes of genetic modification, Hybridization (biology), hybridization, paleontology and/or zoology. Many feature medical or scientific underpinnings, reflective of his own medical training and scientific background. Owen Grady
Owen Grady is a fictional character in the ''Jurassic Park'' franchise. He is introduced in the fourth film ''Jurassic World'' (2015), which is also the first installment in the ''Jurassic World'' trilogy. Colin Trevorrow directed and co-wrote the film, casting Chris Pratt as Owen. He is one of the three main protagonists in the trilogy, along with his love interest Claire Dearing (portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard), and his adoptive daughter, Maisie Lockwood (portrayed by Isabella Sermon), who made her debut in '' Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom''.
