J & J Ultralights
J & J Ultralights was an American aircraft manufacturer that was based at Wings ’N Sunset Airport in Live Oak, Florida. The company specialized in the design and manufacture of ultralight trikes, including Amphibious aircraft, amphibious models. J & J Ultralights first produced aircraft in the 1980s, but was out of business before 2005. Jabiru UL
The Jabiru LSA is a light aircraft developed in Australia in the early 1980s and marketed in the early 1990s.Taylor 1993, p.941Jackson 1995, p.8 Jabiru also sold many variants of the LSA design to meet with different Australian and international certification requirements, including complete, factory-built aircraft and kits for amateur construction. The LSA itself was designed to meet with Australian ultralight regulations under the then-current CAO 101.55 for factory-built ultralights. Design The LSA is a strut-braced, high-wing monoplane of conventional design. The pilot and a single passenger sit side-by-side in a fully enclosed cabin. It is powered by a piston engine in the nose driving a tractor-mounted propeller. The LSA itself and most of its variants have fixed, tricycle undercarriage, although one variant, the SP-T, had tailwheel undercarriage. The wings are detachable for transportation and storage. The Thruxton Jackaroo was a 1950s United Kingdom, British four-seat cabin biplane converted from a de Havilland Tiger Moth by Jackaroo Aircraft Limited at Thruxton Aerodrome and Rollason Aircraft and Engines Limited at Croydon Airport. History The Thruxton Jackaroo was designed as a four-seat cabin general purpose biplane; the original tandem two-seat Tiger Moth fuselage was widened to allow side-by-side seating for 4 people.Jackson 1987, pp. 309-311 It was marketed as "the cheapest four-seat aircraft in the world". The first conversion first flew on 2 March 1957.Bridgman 1958, p. 92. Jacuzzi is an American private company that manufactures and markets hot tubs, pools, and other bath products. It is best known for the Jacuzzi hydrotherapy products. The company is headquartered in Irvine, California. It is the largest hot tub manufacturer in Europe with eight factories, the largest being in Italy. The company was founded in 1915 by seven Italian immigrant brothers from the Jacuzzi family in Berkeley, California. It developed a variety of products including pumps for agricultural use. In 1948, Jacuzzi created water pumps to treat a family member's rheumatoid arthritis. The water pumps were a niche medical product until they were integrated into a recreational hot tub in 1968. As the popularity of hot tubs grew, Jacuzzi created more models that were more advanced.
