Eardrum Records was a record label owned by American comedian George Carlin, who formed the label in 1986. He then bought out Little David Records, the label that previously released his material. Eardrum was distributed by Atlantic Records, which had also distributed Little David, and Carlin was the sole artist on the label until his death. Eardrum released all of Carlin's later recordings starting with ''Playin’ with Your Head'' in 1986 and also remastered and reissued Carlin's classic Little David albums on CD. CTE New World (acronym for Corporate Thugz Entertainment, formerly CTE World) is an American record label founded by rapper Jeezy and his former business partner Kinky B in 2001. In December 2012, the label signed a joint venture deal with Atlantic. The label has signed artists including YG, Freddie Gibbs, Blood Raw, Scrilla, and Jeezy's group, USDA. Cotillion Records was a subsidiary of Atlantic Records (from 1971 part of WEA) and was active from 1968 through 1985. The label was formed as an outlet for soul, R&B, funk, pop, and jazz. Its first single, Otis Clay's version of "She's About a Mover", reached the R&B charts. Cotillion's catalog quickly expanded to include progressive rock, folk-rock, gospel, jazz and comedy. Chopper City Records is a record label founded by CEO and rapper Christopher " B.G." Dorsey and Co-CEO Carol Dorsey in Metairie, Louisiana.
