This is a list of WBC Muaythai world champions, showing every world champion certificated by World Boxing Council's WBC Muaythai. The World Boxing Council (WBC) is an international professional boxing organization. It is among the four major organizations which sanction professional boxing bouts, alongside the World Boxing Association (WBA), International Boxing Federation (IBF) and World Boxing Organization (WBO). Many historically high-profile bouts have been sanctioned by the organization with various notable fighters having been recognised as WBC world champions. All four organizations recognise the legitimacy of each other and each have interwoven histories dating back several decades. Pak Kret (, ) is a city (''thesaban nakhon'') in Nonthaburi province, Thailand. Muang Thong Thani ( 'golden city') is a large real estate development in Pak Kret, a northern suburb city of Bangkok, in Thailand's Nonthaburi Province. Fabiano "Cyclone" Goncalves Aoki (; born on 21 November 1978) is a Brazilian former heavyweight kickboxer, fighting out of TARGET team in Japan. He was J-Network tournament champion, RISE, WPMF, HEAT and WBC Muaythai champion, competed in the K-1 and is currently signed to GLORY. Biography and career On June 9, 2012, Aoki replaced Igor Jurković and challenged Cristian Bosch for his WBC Muaythai heavyweight world title. Cristian Bosch is an Argentinian kickboxer. He is the former WBC Muaythai Heavyweight World Champion and WKN Cruiserweight World Champion. Early life Bosh started training martial arts the age of 15. He also worked as a security guard. Career On April 2, 2011, Bosch defeated Raúl Romero by knockout by a right cross in the first round after 20 seconds in Mexico City. Bosh captured the vacant WBC Muaythai Heavyweight World Championship. In 2012, Bosch was scheduled to fight Igor Jurković for the WBC Muaythai championship, but the fight didn't materialize because Jurković was also scheduled to fight in the Glory summer tournament in Ukraine. In an interview, Jurković said that he was sorry he couldn't fight for the belt.
