The SAM Coupé (pronounced /sæm ku:peɪ/ from its original British English branding) is an 8-bit United Kingdom, British home computer manufactured by ''Miles Gordon Technology'' (''MGT''), based in Swansea in the United Kingdom and released in December 1989. It was based on and designed to have a compatibility mode with the ZX Spectrum 48K with influences from the Loki (computer), Loki project and marketed as a logical upgrade from the Spectrum with increased memory, graphical and sound capabilities, native peripheral support (floppy disk, MIDI, joystick, light pen/light gun and a proprietary Computer mouse, mouse). ''Pipe Mania'' is a puzzle video game developed by The Assembly Line for the Amiga and published in 1989. It was ported to several other platforms by Lucasfilm Games as ''Pipe Dream''; the company distributed the game in the US. The player must connect randomly appearing pieces of pipe on a grid to a given length within a limited time. The Windows version of the game was included in the '' MS Windows Entertainment Pack''. In 1990, it was released as an arcade video game by Japanese manufacturer Video System Co. ''Rick Dangerous'' is a platform game developed by Core Design for the Acorn Archimedes, Amiga, Atari ST, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, and MS-DOS. ''Coloris'' is a puzzle video game released in 1990 for the Amiga. It was published by Avesoft, a distributor of freeware and shareware disks. ''Coloris'' is similar to Sega's ''Columns'', which itself is a variant of ''Tetris''. A port to the Atari ST was only released as a preview; the full version was not published. Gameplay Blocks fall from top of the screen to a well. The blocks consist of three squares of different colours. The blocks cannot be rotated, but the order of the colours can be switched. If three or more squares of same colour are adjacent, they disappear, blocks above them fall down, and may trigger a chain reaction. The player controls a ghost who by blowing guides a floating bubble throughout a number of halls in a haunted house, while avoiding obstacles that can make the bubble pop. ''Splat!'' is a maze video game published for the ZX Spectrum in 1983 by Incentive Software of Reading, England. It was subsequently released for the Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and SAM Coupé. Gameplay The player guides Zippy, an X-shaped sprite, around a maze, viewed top-down, with solid walls, hazards and collectable rewards. The view of the maze scrolls randomly right, left, up or down. The object is for the player to survive for a period of time without making contact with either an edge of the playing area, represented as a brick walls, or hazards including water and spikes, all of which lose a life. ''Oh No! More Lemmings'' is an expansion pack for the puzzle video game ''Lemmings'' by DMA Design. It contains 100 single-player levels and six music tracks. The Amiga version also includes 10 two-player levels. The game requires either the install disk from the previous ''Lemmings'', or, in a standalone version, the game manual, for use as a copy protector. The new levels are separated into five difficulty categories (Tame, Crazy, Wild, Wicked, and Havoc), each with 20 levels. The expansion received positive reviews for the uniqueness and the puzzles.
