The ROH World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling world tag team championship owned by the Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion; it is contested for in their tag team division. The championship was created and debuted on September 21, 2002, at ROH's Unscripted event. At said event, the championship was represented by a trophy, which was destroyed by American Dragon and Michael Modest after they were defeated by The Prophecy (Christopher Daniels and Donovan Morgan), who had just become the inaugural champions. Daniels and Morgan were awarded physical belts later in 2002. The Second City Saints
The Second City Saints was an American professional wrestling stable in Ring of Honor, consisting of CM Punk, Colt Cabana and Ace Steel, consisting of all three members representing Chicago, Illinois. They were also managed sporadically by Lucy and Traci Brooks. The group was formed in 2003 and would feud with Raven, The Prophecy and Generation Next before CM Punk left ROH to wrestle in World Wrestling Entertainment in August 2005. Matt Taven
Matthew Marinelli (born March 20, 1985), known by his ring name, Matt Taven, is an American professional wrestler and wrestling trainer. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion, Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is one-half of The Kingdom with Mike Bennett. Taven is best known for his work with ROH as an original member of The Kingdom and he's the former leader of the 2016-19 revival incarnation. Michael Bennett (born May 16, 1985) is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), where he is one-half of The Kingdom with Matt Taven. Bennett previously competed for WWE under the ring name Mike Kanellis, and for Impact Wrestling. After beginning his career on the independent circuit, Bennett made his ROH debut in 2008. Samuel Guevara (born July 28, 1993) is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of The Sons of Texas and is a record tying three-time former AEW TNT Champion.
