Rodrigue Akl
Rodrigue Akl (born 30 September 1988) is a Lebanese basketball player for Sagesse SC of the Lebanese Basketball League. He is a six-foot-one-inch tall point guard, and is generally regarded as one of the best players of Lebanon at his position. Club career Akl started playing basketball when he was eight years old, playing for Champville SC's youth teams. Akl then made his professional debut when he played for Blue Stars and later signed with Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut for one season and then moved to Anibal Zahle. Akl signed officially with Hekmeh BC in May 2012 for a 4-year contract. Mildon Roy Ambres (born September 12, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Southern Miss and Southern Nazarene. He was voted the NBA D-League Most Improved Player by coaches at the conclusion of the 2010 season. Early years His father, Milton, who played with Southern University and was a high school coach for 26 years, introduced Mildon to the game when he was seven. Ambres lettered three years in basketball at Opelousas High School in Opelousas, Louisiana. As a senior, he averaged 21.2 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists per game. George Almones
George Almones (September 21, 1962 – December 20, 2012) was an American professional basketball player. Standing at 6"4', Almones attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana for three seasons from 1982–83 through 1984–85 before giving up his senior eligibility to turn pro early. He was a sixth-round draft choice of the New Jersey Nets in 1985 but has not played in the NBA. Darrell Wilbert Allums Jr. (born September 12, 1958) is an American retired basketball player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) during the 1980–81 season with the Dallas Mavericks. Basketball Allums attended Lynwood High School, where his 18 points and 18 rebounds per game helped lead his team to the Southern Section 3A championship. A 6'9" forward (basketball), forward playing on scholarship for the UCLA Bruins men's basketball team, Allums played for three different coaches and ended his collegiate career by playing four minutes in UCLA's loss to the University of Louisville in the finals of the 1980 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament.
