The National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) is a top-flight professional women's soccer league in the United States. It shares first-division status with the USL Super League. , the league has 14 teams and uses a schedule that runs from spring to fall within a single calendar year. The 2018 National Women's Soccer League season was the sixth season of the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States.
