Eremitu (, Hungarian pronunciation: ) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania, composed of five villages: Călugăreni (''Mikháza''), Câmpu Cetății (''Vármező''), Dămieni (''Deményháza''), Eremitu (''Nyárádremete''), and Mătrici (''Nyárádköszvényes''). Călugăreni is the site of the Roman Castra of Călugăreni fort in the Roman province of Dacia, located on the north-western periphery of the village. The route of the Via Transilvanica long-distance trail passes through Eremitu, where the ''Highlands'' section of the trail ends, and the ''Terra Siculorum'' section begins. Viișoara (; ; Hungarian pronunciation: ) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania that is composed of three villages: Ormeniș (''Irmesch''; ''Szászörményes''), Sântioana (''Johannisdorf''; ''Szászszentiván''), and Viișoara. Geography The commune is situated on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the bank of the rivers Domald and Sântioana, at an altitude of . It is composed of six villages: Ațintiș, Botez (''Batizháza''), Cecălaca (''Csekelaka''), Iștihaza (''Istvánháza''), Maldaoci (''Madavölgytanya''), and Sâniacob (''Marosszentjakab''). The commune lies on the Transylvanian Plateau, on the banks of the river Mureș and its left tributary, the river Ațintiș. It is located in the western part of the county, from the county seat, Târgu Mureș, on the border with Alba County.
