The following is a list of clubs who have played in the Bangladesh Women's Football League since its formation in 2011 to the current 2023–24 Bangladesh Womens Football League, 2023–24 season. In Bangladesh, there is only one women's football league: the Bangladesh Women's Football League. Thus, there are no promotions or relegation to date. * 2023–24 The Bangladesh Women's Football League (),officially known as UCB Women's Football League for sponsorship reasons and simply as WFL, is the highest level of women's club football competition of Bangladesh. Established in 2011, the league is run by Bangladesh Football Federation. History Bangladesh Women's Football League was founded in 2011 by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), as Bangladesh's top flight domestic women's football league. After two consecutive seasons, the league was postponed for indefinite time because of financial issues. After a gap of 7 years, the BFF organised the third edition in 2020. The 2021–22 season had 12 clubs participating, the highest to date. Abahani Limited Dhaka (), also referred as Dhaka Abahani or Abahani Limited, is a Bangladeshi professional football club based in the Dhanmondi area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club currently competes in the Bangladesh Premier League, the top flight of Bangladeshi football. Brothers Union () is a professional association football, football club based in Gopibagh, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Bangladesh Police Football Club (also known as Bangladesh Police Athletic Club) is an association football team based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The club was founded by Bangladesh Police and formerly East Pakistan Police. The services team had previously played in the First Division Football League in 1998 – then the second tier of football. In recent times, Police FC became champions of the Second Division Football League in 2014 and were directly promoted to the Bangladesh Championship League in 2015. Arambagh Krira Sangha is a Bangladeshi sports club based in Dhaka, that competes in the Bangladesh Championship League, the second-tier of football in Bangladesh. History Arambagh Krira Sangha were formed in Dhaka way back in 1958. Originally established as a football club, Arambagh later added handball, basketball and volleyball in their roster. However, they became the first club from Bangladesh who played in final in an international club tournament during 1981 ANFA Cup, hosted by Nepal. They also finished runners-up twice in the Sikkim Gold Cup. In 1997, the club took part in a football tournament at Agartala that marked the golden jubilee of the independence of India.
