The Copa del Presidente de la República 1934 ''(President of the Republic's Cup)'' was the 34th staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The competition started on March 11 and concluded on May 6 with the final, held at the Montjuïc Stadium in Barcelona. Madrid won their 6th title. The 1933–34 Segunda División season saw 10 teams participate in the second flight Spanish league. Sevilla and Atlético were promoted to Primera División. There were no relegations to Tercera División because the league would include more teams the next season. 1931 Copa Del Rey
The Republic's Cup 1931 was the 31st staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. With the proclamation of the Second Spanish Republic on April 14, all teams with "Real" ("Royal") in their names, changed it due to anti-monarchic reasons. Real Sociedad changes to Donostia FC. Most of this changes were done between first and second legs of the first round.
