List Of 2015 Indian Premier League Personnel Changes
This is a list of all the personnel changes for the 2015 Indian Premier League (IPL). Apart from the players retained by their franchises, the rest entered the pool of players put up for auction. Notable names among these were Yuvraj Singh (released by Royal Challengers Bangalore), Pragyan Ojha and Zaheer Khan (released by Mumbai Indians), Kevin Pietersen (released by Delhi Daredevils) among others. Trading window There were 2 trading windows prior to the auction which was held on 16 February 2015. A third trading window opened after the auction. During these trading windows, franchises could trade players with other franchises. Retained players Prior to the auction, teams could release players and retain those that they wanted for the next season. The salaries of the released players would be added to the salary purse of the teams which was increased to Rs. 63 crores for the 2015 edition. 2015 Indian Premier League
The 2015 Indian Premier League season (also known as IPL 8 or, for sponsorship reasons, Pepsi IPL 2015) was the eighth season of the Indian Premier League, a Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tournament featured eight teams and was held from 8 April 2015 to 24 May 2015. The tournament's opening ceremony was held at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata on 7 April 2015. Kolkata Knight Riders were the defending champions having won the title in the 2014 season. On 24 May 2015, Mumbai Indians defeated Chennai Super Kings by 41 runs in the final at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, to win the IPL title for the second time. Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma was awarded player of the match in the final for his knock of 50 from 26 balls. Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Mahendra Singh Dhoni (; born 7 July 1981) is an Indian professional cricketer who plays as a right-handed batter and a wicket-keeper. Widely regarded as one of the most prolific wicket-keeper batsmen and captains and one of the greatest ODI batsmen, he represented the Indian cricket team and was the captain of the side in limited overs formats from 2007 to 2017 and in test cricket from 2008 to 2014. Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja (born 6 December 1988) is an Indian cricketer who represents the national team currently in ODI and Test formats. He is an all-rounder, who bats left-handed and bowls left-arm orthodox spin. Widely hailed as one of the greatest all-rounders and among the finest fielders in cricket history, he earned the reputation of a complete all-rounder, cemented further in 2025 when he became the longest consecutively reigning World No. 1 Test all-rounder in the ICC Rankings. Ravichandran Ashwin (; ) (born 17 September 1986) is an Indian cricketer. He is a right-arm off spin bowler and a lower order batter. Widely regarded as one of the most prolific spinners of all time, he represented the Indian cricket team and was part of the Indian team that won the 2011 Cricket World Cup and the 2013 Champions Trophy. Pawan Negi
Pawan Negi (born 6 January 1993) is an Indian cricketer. He is a slow left-arm orthodox bowler. He was born in Uttarakhand. He was a part of the Indian squad which won the 2016 Asia Cup. Career Negi played for Delhi in domestic cricket. He played for Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League in 2012 and 2013 and for Chennai Super Kings in 2014 and 2015 before rejoining Delhi for the 2016 season. Negi made his Twenty20 International debut for India national cricket team against the United Arab Emirates in the 2016 Asia Cup at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on 3 March 2016. Mohit Mahipal Sharma (born 18 September 1988) is formerly an Indian international cricketer. Mithun Manhas
Mithun Manhas (born 12 October 1979) is an Indian former first-class cricketer and current coach. A right-handed batsman, he also bowled right-arm off-spin and occasionally kept wicket. Ishwar Chand Pandey (born 15 August 1989) is an Indian former cricketer who played for Madhya Pradesh. Dwayne John Bravo (born 7 October 1983) is a Trinidadian retired cricketer, a former captain of the West Indies cricket team and the current mentor of Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.
