UCI Women's Teams
A UCI Women's Team is a women's road bicycle team sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI). These teams compete in the major List of women's road bicycle races, women's bicycle races including the UCI Women's World Tour. The country designation of each team is determined by the country of registration of the most its riders, and is not necessarily the country where the team is registered or based. WorldTeams UCI Women's WorldTeams are automatically invited to compete in UCI Women's World Tour events. Kristin Armstrong Savola (; born August 11, 1973) is a former professional road bicycle racer and three-time Olympic gold medalist, the winner of the women's individual time trial in 2008, 2012, and 2016. Before temporarily retiring to start a family in 2009, she rode for in women's elite professional events on the National Racing Calendar (NRC) and UCI Women's World Cup.
