UCI Women's Teams
A UCI Women's Team is a women's road bicycle team sanctioned by the International Cycling Union (Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI). These teams compete in the major List of women's road bicycle races, women's bicycle races including the UCI Women's World Tour. The country designation of each team is determined by the country of registration of the most its riders, and is not necessarily the country where the team is registered or based. WorldTeams UCI Women's WorldTeams are automatically invited to compete in UCI Women's World Tour events. As of 2025, the fifteen UCI Women's WorldTeams are: Former WorldTeams ProTeams UCI Women's ProTeams were introduced for the 2025 season, creating a structure similar to that of the men's teams. A team is a group of individuals (human or non-human) working together to achieve their goal. As defined by Professor Leigh Thompson of the Kellogg School of Management, " team is a group of people who are interdependent with respect to information, resources, knowledge and skills and who seek to combine their efforts to achieve a common goal".
