Liga Națională (women's Basketball)
The Liga Națională, formerly known as Divizia A, is the women's top-tier professional basketball league of Romania. Established in 1950, it is currently contested by eight teams. CS Universitatea Cluj-Napoca (women's basketball), Universitatea Cluj-Napoca is the Liga Națională's most successful club with fourteen titles including a ten-years winning streak between 1984 and 1994, while CSM Târgoviște (basketball), CSM Târgoviște and BC ICIM Arad, ICIM Arad have dominated the championship in subsequent years with ten and eight titles respectively. In 2013 the Romanian champion took part in the Euroleague Women, FIBA Euroleague for the first time since the competition's refoundation in 1997.CSM Targoviste's profile

Cupa României (women's Basketball)
The Cupa României is the main single-elimination tournament, knockout competition for Romanian women's basketball teams. It was established in 1965, though it was cancelled in 1970 to 1975, 1978, 1979, 1982 to 1987, 1989 to 1994 and 1996 to 2003. A woman is an adult female human. Before adulthood, a female child or adolescent is referred to as a girl. The Liga Națională de Baschet Masculin (LNBM) () is the top-tier professional basketball league of Romania. The winner of the league each season is crowned the Romanian national champion. Founded in 1950, the league consists of 24 teams playing in three different divisions. Currently, the clubs from the Liga Națională also participate in the European competitions, and can qualify for the Basketball Champions League or the FIBA Europe Cup based on their performance in the national league and cup competition. The most successful club in the league's history is Dinamo București, who has won a record 22 titles. Asesoft Ploieşti won the championship seven times in a row between 2004 and 2010, and again between 2012 and 2014. They became the only Romanian team to win a European title with their success in the FIBA EuroCup Challenge in 2005. Clubul Sportiv Rapid București, commonly known as CS Rapid București, Rapid București, or simply Rapid, is a Romanian basketball club based in Bucharest, currently participates in the Liga Națională, the top-tier league in Romania. The team represents the basketball women's section of CS Rapid București, a multi-sports club. Club Sportiv Municipal Târgoviște, commonly referred to as simply CSM Târgoviște, is a Romanian women's basketball club from Târgoviște. Founded in 1991, it plays in the Liga Națională (women's basketball), Liga Națională. History The club promoted to the first league in 1992. Târgoviște won its first national championship in 1995 and since then the team has won nine more championships.
