"Let's Start Again" is a song by the then five-piece hip-hop group Blazin' Squad, released as a single on 15 June 2009. Background In 2009, Strider, Flava, Kenzie, Krazy and Rocky B announced that they would be reuniting as a five-piece version of Blazin' Squad, following the failed success of the four-piece reformation in 2006, and the minor success of Friday Hill in 2005. In June 2009, the five piece released their comeback single, "Let's Start Again". They also recruited modern artists Bashy and Chipmunk (rapper), Chipmunk for a remix of the track. Despite heavy airplay, however, the single only peaked at #51 on the UK Singles Chart. Despite their record label wanting to drop them following the poor success of the single, they had signed a bonding contract to release an album. Blazin' Squad were an English Hip hop music, hip hop group. The group had six top ten hits, including "Tha Crossroads, Crossroads", a cover version of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony original. Career ''In The Beginning'': 2002 The band released a number of white label singles on the Weighty Plates label featuring remixes of the track "Standard Flow" from their album ''In the Beginning (Blazin' Squad album), In the Beginning''. "Standard Flow" was remixed by Ras Kwarme and Origin Unknown, with a version available featuring Jamaican dancehall musician Elephant Man (musician), Elephant Man on guest vocals. Even though the releases were issued as underground white labels, "Standard Flow" sold enough copies to chart as Blazin' Squad's first Top 100 chart entry, peaking at number 78 on the chart of 17 August 2002 with three weeks in the countdown. ''Greatest Hits'' is a compilation album released by British hip hop group Blazin' Squad. The album was released digitally via 7digital.com on 22 June 2009. Background Following the group's split in late 2004, four of the original band members decided to continue writing and recording, and in 2006, they signed a deal with Peach Records, got in contact with their previous songwriters and released a comeback single, "All Night Long". The comeback was not successful, and "All Night Long" failed to chart. The group were subsequently dropped from the label. In 2008, after recruiting another of the original band members, the five-piece signed a deal with Naughty Boy Records and released a further comeback single, "Let's Start Again". Ashley Thomas (born 4 February 1985), also known by the stage name Bashy, is a British actor and rapper. Early life Thomas was born in Hammersmith, West London. His mother is of Jamaican heritage and his father is of Dominican heritage. He attended St. Mary's of the Angels RC Primary School. Aged 8, his family moved to Kensal Rise, in the London Borough of Brent. He attended Cardinal Hinsley High School, where he excelled in drama studies. So Solid Crew
So Solid Crew are a British UK garage and hip hop collective originating from Battersea, London, which achieved wide success in the early 2000s. The group consisted of many members, the most notable being Asher D (Ashley Walters), Lisa Maffia, Harvey and Romeo. So Solid have been credited for being pioneers in the UK music scene. By turning UK garage from a dancey-genre to one that was darker and more MC-oriented, and gaining mainstream success, they inspired London youth to experiment with their own darker sounds, leading to what would become known as grime music.
