Let's Play Darts
''Let's Play Darts'' is a charity sports show hosted by Gabby Logan on BBC Two. The show has also been called ''Let's Play Darts for Comic Relief'' (2015) and ''Let's Play Darts for Sport Relief'' (2016). The show sees celebrities team up with professional darts players to play five rounds of darts before announcing a winner. The winner from each quarter-final episode goes through to the semi-final rounds. Episode guide Series 1 (2015) The series was filmed on 3–4 September, and aired in early March in the lead-up to the Comic Relief fundraiser marathon. The series also featured Comic Relief appeal films from Lenny Henry, Liza Tarbuck, Emma Willis and Angela Griffin as well as presenter Gabby Logan. Deta Hedman
Deta Hedman OBE (born 14 November 1959) is an English darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. She is a two-time World Masters and Finder Masters winner, and a three-time Dutch Open champion. She was also a three-time runner-up at the BDO World Championship, and was the runner-up at the 2016 BDO World Trophy. Biography Hedman was born in Jamaica in 1959. Her parents emigrated to the United Kingdom in the early 1960s, leaving Hedman and her siblings in the care of relatives in Jamaica. She spent her childhood with her aunt in Castleton in a shack without running water or electricity, going to school from Monday to Thursday and working on the farm on Fridays. Glen Durrant
Glen Durrant (born 24 November 1970), nicknamed "Duzza", is an English former professional darts player who competed in British Darts Organisation (BDO) and Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Durrant is a three-time BDO World Champion, having won the title in consecutive years: 2017, 2018 and 2019. Durrant also won six other BDO major titles: the 2018 BDO World Trophy, the World Masters in 2015 and 2016, and the Finder Darts Masters in 2015, 2016 and 2018. Durrant won a PDC Tour Card in 2019 and won 2 ranking PDC titles that year before winning the 2020 Premier League, his only PDC major title. Kate Humble
Katherine Mary Humble (born 12 December 1968) is an English television presenter and narrator, mainly working for the BBC, specialising in wildlife and science programmes. Martin Adams
Martin Adams (born 4 June 1956) is an English professional darts player who plays in World Darts Federation (WDF) events. Nicknamed "Wolfie", he is a three-time BDO World Champion and three-time World Masters champion. He represents Cambridgeshire at county darts level and was the captain of England from 1993 to 2013, the longest any player has held that role. From his debut in 1994, Adams made a record 25 consecutive World Championship appearances, before failing to qualify for the first time in 2019. Adams was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2016, but by the end of the year he was given the all-clear. Darryl Fitton
Darryl Fitton (born 5 May 1962) is a former English professional darts player. He was nicknamed The Dazzler and worked as an undertaker before embarking on his darts career. Fitton won the 2009 Finder Masters and the 2016 BDO World Trophy. He was also a three-time BDO World Championship semi-finalist, the runner-up at the 2007 World Masters, and a quarter-finalist at the 2008 Grand Slam of Darts.
