''Let's Get Ready'' is the fourth studio album by American rapper Mystikal, released on September 26, 2000. The album debuted at number 1 on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 330,663 copies in its first week. It has sold approximately 2,227,536 copies and was certified double platinum in the U.S. The album featured Mystikal's two biggest singles, " Shake Ya Ass", which peaked at number 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and " Danger (Been So Long)", which peaked at number 14. It serves as Mystikal's first album since parting ways with No Limit Records. Michael Lawrence Tyler (born September 22, 1970), better known by his stage name Mystikal, is an American rapper and actor from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is noted for brash, obstreperous vocal delivery, characterized by a Southern rasp. He signed with local record label Big Boy Records to release his self-titled debut studio album (1994), which was re-released by Jive Records the following year as his major label debut, '' Mind of Mystikal'' (1995). Myrna Crenshaw Brown (July 6, 1959 – April 1, 2007), best known as Screechy Peach, was an American singer and songwriter. Initially the lead singer of Whild Peach, alongside her husband, guitarist David Whild, she would acquire fame in the 1990s due to her collaboration with such artists as Outkast and Macy Gray.
