''Le Chemin'' ("The Way") is a 2003 album recorded by French pop-rock act Kyo. It was released on January 13, 2003, and achieved huge success in France and Belgium (Wallonia), where it was respectively #2 and #1. This album, entirely composed by the band, remains to date its most successful one. There is also an edition including a DVD. It stayed on the charts for 65 weeks in Belgium, 98 weeks in France and 79 weeks in Switzerland. It provided four top 20 singles in France and Belgium : " Le Chemin" (#12 in France, #4 in Belgium, #14 in Switzerland), " Dernière danse" (#6 in France, #4 in Belgium, #14 in Switzerland), "Je cours" (#20 in France, #8 in Belgium, #41 in Switzerland) and "Je saigne encore" (#13 in France, #12 in Belgium, #39 in Switzerland). Benoît Poher
Benoît Poher (; born 27 June 1979) is a French singer, songwriter and lyricist. He is the lead singer of French rock band Kyo and was the lead singer in the supergroup Empyr. Early life Poher was born in Mantes-la-Jolie, Yvelines, in the western suburbs of Paris to musician parents. He pursued a musical life while at Ensemble scolaire Notre-Dame "Les Oiseaux" (a French junior high school). In Kyo While studying at Notre-Dame "Les Oiseaux" in 1994, Poher met the brothers Fabien and Florian Dubois, and Nicolas Chassagne. They formed a rock band later known as Kyo in 1997. Originally Benoît was a bass player in the band before taking over as lead vocals because of his powerful voice. Sita (singer)
Sita Maria Vermeulen (born 8 June 1980), known by the mononym Sita, is a Dutch pop singer. She rose to fame in the early 2000s as part of the pop group K-otic. After leaving the band in 2001, she had a brief solo career before turning to television, where she was featured primarily on children's television and was a candidate on ''Sterren Dansen Op Het IJs'', the Dutch adaption of ''Dancing on Ice'' as well as the Dutch version of ''Dancing With The Stars''. An NRJ Music Award (commonly abbreviated as an NMA) is an award presented by the French radio station NRJ to honor the best in the French and worldwide music industry. Kyo is a French Rock music, rock band with lead vocals by Benoît Poher. The band was first active from 1997 to 2005 with three albums ''Kyo'' (2000), ''Le Chemin (Kyo album), Le Chemin'' (2003) and ''300 Lésions'' (2004) and a string of singles. It announced a hiatus in 2005 without a definite break-up.
