Lake Shore is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States, located east of Pasadena. The population of Lake Shore was 19,477 at the 2010 census. Geography Lake Shore is located at (39.098960, −76.481717), on the Hog Neck peninsula near Chesapeake Bay. It is partially bordered by tidal inlets to the bay, notably Magothy River to the south and Main Creek to the northeast. It is bordered by Pasadena to the west, with the boundary in the vicinity of Magothy Bridge Road. Lakeshore is a municipality on Lake Saint Clair (North America), Lake St. Clair, in Essex County, Ontario, Essex County, Ontario, Canada. It was incorporated in 1999 by amalgamating the Town of Belle River with the township (Canada), townships of Maidstone, Rochester, Tilbury North, and Tilbury West. Lakeshore Soccer Club is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in the Montreal suburb of Kirkland, Quebec. The club competes in the Ligue2 Quebec, returning to the semi-pro league system in 2025 after previously competing in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec from 2015 to 2016. Lake Shore Gill (1900 – July 5, 1969) was a botanist and forest pathologist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He was a definitive authority on the genus ''Arceuthobium''. Career Gill received his bachelor's degree from Stanford University in 1922, and his master's in 1931. He earned his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1934. In the 1930s, he began studying ''Arceuthobium'' species in the American Southwest, specifically the effect of forest infestations. In 1935, Gill published the monograph, "''Arceuthobium'' in the United States", which was a seminal treatment of dwarf mistletoe taxonomy and research.
