La Voix D'un Ange
''La Voix d'un ange'' (meaning ''The Voice of an Angel'') is the name of the second studio album recorded by the French singer Grégory Lemarchal. It was released on 18 June 2007, about one month and a half after the singer's death. The album contains the hit singles " De temps en temps", "Le Lien" and "Restons amis". It was very successful in France, in Belgium ( Wallonia) (#1 in both countries) and Switzerland. The album is composed of Lemarchal's unpublished songs and several cover versions performed when he participated in the Star Academy 4. Grégory Lemarchal
Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal (13 May 1983 – 30 April 2007), known professionally as Grégory Lemarchal, was a French singer who rose to fame by winning the fourth series of the reality television show ''Star Academy (French TV series), Star Academy'', which was broadcast on the TF1. He died at the age of 23 of health complications (cystic fibrosis) while waiting in hospital for a Lung transplantation, lung transplant. A posthumous album, ''La Voix d'un ange'', was released with profits going towards the Association Grégory Lemarchal charity. A compilation, ''Rêves'', was released in 2009. He has sold more than 2 million albums. Grégory Lemarchal remains an emblematic figure in France, often associated in the research and fight against cystic fibrosis. Envole-moi
"Envole-moi" () is a French language song written, composed and recorded by Jean-Jacques Goldman taken from his 1984 album '' Positif''. The single sold over half a million copies and was certified gold. Goldman explained that the song is a "cry for help" by a young man. Gilbert Bécaud
Gilbert Bécaud (, 24 October 1927 – 18 December 2001) was a French singer, composer, pianist and actor, known as "Monsieur 100,000 Volts" for his energetic performances. His best-known hits are " Nathalie" and "Et maintenant", a 1961 release that became an English language hit as "What Now My Love". He remained a popular artist for nearly fifty years, identifiable in his dark blue suits, with a white shirt and "lucky tie"; blue with white polka dots. When asked to explain his gift he said, "A flower doesn't understand botany." His favourite venue was the Paris Olympia under the management of Bruno Coquatrix. He debuted there in 1954 and headlined in 1955, attracting 6,000 on his first night, three times the capacity. Pierre Delanoë
Pierre Delanoë (16 December 1918 – 27 December 2006), born Pierre Charles Marcel Napoléon Leroyer in Paris, France, was a French lyricist who wrote thousands of songs for dozens of singers, including Dalida, Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Petula Clark, Johnny Hallyday, Joe Dassin, Michel Sardou and Mireille Mathieu. Peter Gordeno (20 June 1939 – 18 October 2008) was a British dancer, recording artist, cabaret singer, choreographer, and occasional actor. Biography Born as Peter Godenho in Rangoon, Burma, to an Italian American father and Scottish/ Burmese mother, Gordeno was known primarily for his work with composer and arranger John Barry, but also became a household name in the 1970s due to his appearances as a submarine captain and combat pilot ''Peter Carlin'' in the Gerry Anderson television programme '' UFO''. Lucie Silvas
Lucie Silvas (born Lucie Joanne Silverman, 4 September 1977) is a British singer-songwriter. Early life Born in Kingston upon Thames, England, her father is from New Zealand and is of Jewish descent; and her mother is Scottish and is Christian. Silvas has two sisters, Mia (who has performed backing vocals for her), and Nikki. John Deacon
John Richard Deacon (born 19 August 1951) is an English retired musician, best known for being the bass guitarist for the rock band Queen. He wrote several songs for the group, including Top 10 hits " You're My Best Friend", " Another One Bites the Dust" and " I Want to Break Free"; co-wrote " Under Pressure", "Friends Will Be Friends" and " One Vision"; and he was involved in the band's financial management. Deacon grew up in Oadby, Leicestershire, playing bass guitar in a local band, The Opposition, before moving to study electronics at Chelsea College, London. Roger Meddows Taylor (born 26 July 1949) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and the drummer for the rock band Queen. As a drummer, Taylor was recognised early in his career for his unique sound''Rolling Stone'' – Issue 149 – 12 June 1973 and was voted the eighth-greatest drummer in classic rock music history in a listener poll conducted by Planet Rock in 2005. Brian May
Brian Harold May (born 19 July 1947) is an English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and astrophysicist, who achieved worldwide fame as the lead guitarist of the rock band Queen. May was a co-founder of Queen with lead singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor. His songwriting contributions helped Queen become among the most successful acts in music history.
