La Pícara Soñadora (TV Series)
''La Pícara Soñadora'' (English title: ''The Mischievous Dreamer'') is a Mexican telenovela produced by Valentín Pimstein for Televisa in 1991. Based on a ''La Pícara soñadora'', a 1956 Argentine film of the same name, directed by Ernesto Arancibia. It starred Mariana Levy and Eduardo Palomo. Plot Lupita is young and pretty and studies law. Although her future seems bright, for the moment she is penniless and that's why she lives in the Sares Rochild department store, where she works by day as a salesgirl in the toy department and her uncle works by night as the security guard. Everything she "borrows" from the store to live on, she writes down in a little book so that she can repay it when she finishes her studies. She has it all planned. But one day, she meets a guy outside the office of the owner of the department store. She thinks he is there to apply for a job, and Alfredo decides to play along. Irán Eory
Irán Eory (; 21 October 1937 – 10 March 2002, born Elvira Teresa Eory) was an Iranian actress. She achieved fame in Mexico after moving to that country in the late 1960s. Biography She was born in Tehran, Iran, to an Austrian Jewish father and an Iranian Jewish mother — Angela Sidi — on October 21, 1937. Irán was given as the screen name for her, because it suggests her birth country. Eory was raised in Spain, where she learned Spanish, and entered a beauty contest in Monaco, where she was noticed by Prince Rainier. She started her acting career before emigrating to Mexico in the late 1960s, hoping to become an actress, singer, and a theatre producer. Eory suffered a brain hemorrhage and she died at 64 in Mexico City on March 10, 2002, of embolism. Her ashes were entombed at the cemetery Panteón de Las Lomas located in Naucalpan, State of Mexico.
