The ''Vancouver Sun'', also known as the ''Sun'', is a daily broadsheet newspaper based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The newspaper is currently published by the Pacific Newspaper Group, a division of Postmedia Network, and is the largest newspaper in western Canada by circulation. Orcas
The orca (''Orcinus orca''), or killer whale, is a toothed whale and the largest member of the oceanic dolphin family. The only extant species in the genus '' Orcinus'', it is recognizable by its black-and-white-patterned body. David Oppenheimer
David Oppenheimer (January 1, 1834 – December 31, 1897) was a Canadian businessman, investor, philanthropist, politician, and writer. He was the second mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia, and a National Historic Person of Canada. Early life Oppenheimer was born in Blieskastel, then in the Kingdom of Bavaria, as one of ten children. His father, Salomon, was a merchant and vintner. David's mother, Johanna (Johanette) Kahn, died when he was four years old. His family was Jewish. He was educated at the Collegiate School of Frankfurt am Main. The Vancouver Learning Network (formerly Greater Vancouver Regional Correspondence School) is a public distance education secondary school headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is part of the Vancouver School Board. VLN is located at the John Oliver Secondary School in Vancouver, BC. It has its own hallway in which it can operate. Sir William Van Horne Elementary School is a public elementary school located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Located at 5855 Ontario Street in School District 39 Vancouver, the school was built in 1911. Location It is located in the Oakridge neighborhood of Vancouver. Sir Guy Carleton Elementary School
Sir Guy Carleton Elementary School, often shortened to Carleton School or Carleton, is an elementary school located at the southern periphery of the Renfrew-Collingwood neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
