"L'estate sta finendo" is a song by the Italian Italo disco duo Righeira that was released as a non-album single in May 1985. It was written by singers Johnson Righeira and Michael Righeira and producer Carmelo La Bionda. Released as the duo's fifth single in 1985 on the record label Compagnia Generale del Disco, CGD, it reached number one in Italy. It was the winning song at the Festivalbar in 1985 as the most popular song of the summer. Football chants based on the song are popularly sung by football fans in many European clubs. The chants are referred to as "Un giorno all'improvviso" from their opening line in Italy, and in English clubs it is known as "Allez Allez Allez" from its chorus. Righeira () were an Italian Italo disco duo, formed in Turin in 1983, that comprised Johnson Righeira (lead vocals and keyboards) and Michael Righeira (backing vocals, keyboards and harmonica). Originally rooted in the early stages of Italo disco music, Righeira's musical style evolved throughout their career, incorporating elements of synth-pop and New wave music, new wave in their songs in innovative ways, later exploring music styles such as electronic music and regular pop music, pop. Teldec (Telefunken-Decca Schallplatten GmbH) is a German record label in Hamburg, Germany. Today the label is a property of Warner Music Group. History Teldec was a producer of (first) shellac and (later) vinyl records. The Teldec manufacturing facility was located in Nortorf near Kiel in Germany. The company was founded in 1950 as a co-operation between Telefunken and Decca Records. The name Teldec is the result of taking the first three letters of both labels: Telefunken and Decca.
